This is an original watercolor painting of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Zaha Hadid. This building was designed as a competition and houses a conference hall, a gallery hall and a museum. It plays an integral role in the redevelopment of Baku. The fluid form is inspired by the landscapes natural topography.
The architectural style is neo-futurism and the building is distinct for its flowing, curved style with sharp angles. All functions of the building are represented by folds in a single continuous surface. This fluid form connects the various cultural spaces while providing each element of the Center with its own identity and privacy.
Give this original drawing as a gift to a loved one or have as home decor as a reminder of one of the most breath-taking destinations in the world.
